The South Devon Railway 'GWR T13'

July 9th saw the arrival at Buckfastleigh of a former GWR sleeper wagon. Recently acquired for use by the SDR's p.w. department, the wagon will make a useful addition to the wagon collection as well. The departmental running number is DW100715 but the original GW makers plates have long since gone. A number of sources have confirmed that the departmental number was the mere addition of "DW" to the GWR number !
Our T13 is therefore 100715 built as part of lot 1435 between 1942 and 1944. Its siblings were 100712 to 100717 of which 100713 is the only other known survivor.
