Click on the locations above, or on the map for more details. Normal opening hours for Expressway Models are: Summer 10:00 - 17:30, Winter (November - April) 10:00 - 16:30. As the Refreshment Rooms open at 09:30 during the summer blue timetable, Expressway Models will do the same, Booking offices usually open circa 45 minutes before the first departure time.	By Car: Buckfastleigh is located about halfway between Exeter and Plymouth on the A38 Expressway. Leave at the DartBridge junction and follow the brown signs to the South Devon Railway. Totnes is on the A385 from Paignton and the A381 from Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. Sat-Nav TQ11 0DZ Parking: At Buckfastleigh we have an extensive free car park which includes Designated Disabled Car Parking spaces adjacent to the station building. At Staverton there is limited free car parking available. At Totnes, Car parking is available at the First Great Western Station or the Totnes Council designated Car Parks for which a charge is payable.  Please note that the only access to Totnes Littlehempston Station is via the footbridge near the Mainline Station and that it is a 464 yard walk. The nearest Council Car park. (Pavilion Car Park) is a 700 yard walk, BUT we can quite honestly say that it is a wheelchair accessible route all the way.
	By Train: First Great Western, Cross Country services from all parts of the west country and beyond serve Totnes main line station. Walk from Totnes Main Line Station and follow the signs to the SDR Totnes Littlehempston station which is a 464 yard walk away. first Great Western offer through ticketing to "The South Devon Railway, Buckfastleigh Station" or "Staverton Station" as an uplift on the fare to Totnes (Details).  The rail only tickets can be obtained from their telesales service on 08457 000125 or any local first Great Western booking office or local first Great Western guard. 	By Bus: First Devon & Cornwall X80 from Plymouth - Totnes - Paignton Paignton - Torquay Every hour - Mondays to Saturdays (evening service is less frequent). Every two hours - Sunday Through tickets for Buckfastleigh SDR are available Route is split at Paignton but buses work through. First Devon & Cornwall X81 from Dartmouth - Totnes - Paignton Paignton - Torquay Every hour - Mondays to Saturdays ( no evening service ). Plus - Summer Sundays every two hours, but Dartmouth to Totnes only Through tickets for Buckfastleigh SDR are available Route is split at Paignton but buses work through. Stagecoach South West X38 from Exeter - Buckfastleigh Buckfastleigh - Plymouth. Every two hours Mondays to Saturdays (stops mid-evening) Three daytime return journeys on Sundays. Route is split at Buckfastleigh but buses work through. Stagecoach South West X64 Exeter, Totnes (extended to Kingsbridge & Salcombe on Sundays and Bank Holidays but only 2 trips per day) Stagecoach South West. 88 from Newton Abbot to Paignton via Buckfastleigh Hourly but not evenings or Sundays. Please check local timetable for some journeys terminate at Totnes not Paignton. Tally Ho! 164 Totnes Plains - Kingsbridge Eight journeys each day Monday to Saturday (not evenings) Note this route uses a single vehicle so the frequency is approximately every 1¾ to 2 hours.
