SOUTH DEVON RAILWAY Military Weekend

Enjoy the Sights and Sounds of the 1940s on the South Devon Railway – in association with First Great Western who can provide through tickets (Opens in a new window) from Local FGW stations and guards.

This year there will be some top class live music; genuine wartime ’bus rides and we will also be protecting Buckfastleigh with a Sherman Tank!

Staverton will be in the care of the Home Guard so remember to look out for Capt. Mainwaring.
Totnes will be celebrating the end of the war with a VE Day theme.

Saturday 4thThe Candy Girls performing at 1200, 1330 and 1500 for 45 minutes each time.
Sunday 5th Red Hot Duo performing at 1130, 1330 and 1530 for 45 minutes each time.
  City Steam Jazz Band performing at 1230, 1430 and 1630 for 45 minutes each time.

Both ‘Red Hot Duo’ and ‘The Candy Girls’ have played at the prestigious Goodwood Revival festival. Musical performances are as follows:
