’Bus preservation and the Loddiswell museum by David Sheppard
First of all a very big Thank You to SDR Engineering for letting us use their room for our April meeting, which was a great success in every respect. We hope to be back there in the autumn.
The May meeting is a little different. It will be an illustrated talk by David Sheppard about ’bus preservation and the Loddiswell museum, and will be in the Refreshment Coach at Staverton station, by courtesy of the Staverton Preservation Group. You can either get there direct or go to Buckfastleigh station, where the South Devon Railway Trust’s heritage Routemaster ’bus will be waiting to take you to the meeting.
I’ve been asked to remind people that the café coach has a capacity of around 30 seats. The meeting is on Thursday 28 May at 7.45pm, and the ’bus leaves Buckfastleigh station forecourt at 7.30pm. You can, of course, go direct to Staverton and use their car park, but the ’bus will also park there.
Do please come along and support us - I look forward to seeing you there.
